Save Queen Green: Mother Nature's Eco-Rhymes

Edutainment for Children that Teaches Important Environmental Lessons Through the Arts

About the Project

Save Queen Green! Mother Nature’s Eco Rhymes, is a children’s book & album that follows Queen Green’s Keepers on a quest to save the planet!

Queen Green, our depiction of Mother Nature, is sad because her oceans are dirty, her trees have been cut down & her air is unclean. It’s a race to make Queen Green happy again as her Keepers learn what to do (and what not to do) to save our resources & protect the environment! Queen Green’s Eco-Rhymes, set to classic children’s tunes such as “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” & “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” but with a modern, upbeat flair help teach Wasteful Winnie how to save water &Toxic Tricia how to protect the air we breathe. Families will learn important environmental lessons in a fun & memorable way!

About the Creators

Queen Green is voiced and played by Angela Vincent.  Angela and her co-author and mother, Marisa Vincent worked to create the eco-rhymes out of their love and passion for the environment, their vision to merge science and the arts to provide edutainment experiences for children, and their dream to inspire the next generation to learn about protecting the planet.

Research shows that children learn important messages through repetition in rhymes and songs. So, they added a new and refreshing spin on familiar rhymes and created eco-rhymes in order to bring awareness to the environmental issues that face our generation and generations to come.
